Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) lorry licence is the same as an LGV lorry licence.  This licence allows people to drive 7.5 tonnes up to 32 tonnes.   4. Driver CPC - Once you have an HGV licence you will need to complete your CPC training.  This training is 35 hours long. It does not include a test. You must repeat every 5 years to stay compliant.
